TV On The Radio - Will Do
Big time Brooklyn band, TV On The Radio, released a new jam today. Will Do is the first we've heard from upcoming album Nine Types of Light; that will be released via Interscope, April 12th.
Looks like Seattle radio station 107.7 The End is the only place to stream the track right now. Head over to their Soundcloud site, to give the mellow and restrained track a listen. I dig.
TVOTR has a smattering of dates (all on the east coast). Keep you posted when they exodus westward.

They also released a video for the first single, Lotus Flower ... What's better than a minimalist looking clip of Thom dancing? (Not a whole lot is the answer)
Enjoy your Friday!

Cass McCombs - County Line
Mr. McCombs new album, entitled: WIT'S END, has a release date just around the corner. April 12th to be exact (via Domino). The first listen, County Line, is about as smooth as satin. Think back roads, rural cruisin' kinda smooth.
I can't stop listening to this cut. Give it a whirl (preferably in an easy chair or accompanying - said, back roads cruise).

Congrats to Arcade Fire
I would be remiss if I didn't highlight the great accomplishment of one of the greatest bands my generation will have the pleasure of claiming. Arcade Fire took home the Grammy for Album of the Year, in recognition of their 2010 release, The Suburbs.
Watch their acceptance speech and impromptu performance of album standout Ready To Start below. Also, get a good laugh here.
